Pastor Samson is a church planter in Central Kenya. Kenol is a rural/urban town in Murang’a County, Central Kenya. Its location is strategic. Right on the Nairobi-Thika highway. It is the gateway to all the major regions north of Nairobi, all the way to Ethiopia.

The population of Kenol/Makuyu area is over 45,000 and growing. Strikingly, though, 50% of this population is under 30 years of age! Besides the population challenge, Kenol is facing other very serious challenges, namely, young people dropping out of school, unemployment, dysfunctional families, teen pregnancies, premature marriages, crime, prostitution, HIV/ AIDS, drug and alcohol abuse.

 

We strongly believe that God, through Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, has the answer to these challenges. The sooner we face each of them, with His help, the better.
